We went to the beach during the summer many times when I was growing up, I thought our kids would love it like I did. I found a condo with a small kitchen and enough beds for all of us. I reserved it, we loaded the car with everything we would need, and took off for a little roadtrip. We borrowed my mom's DVD player so we would have 2 for the ride. The ride was still hard, mostly for Brady who wanted out of his seat. My kid's just don't do well on long car trips. But once they saw the beach (most of them had never been to one before, Ross had but was too small to remember) the long car ride was worth it (they said). We had a great time, we spent most of our time on the beach, but also went to dinner one night, went on a boat ride, and walked around the Strand and went in a few shops (one was a chocolate shop, yum!).

Logan's favorite part of the whole trip: we saw dolphins playing from the boat, so cute.
Brady was not so thrilled with the beach:
