Okay, after reading everyone's comments I think I realized a few things.
1. I think the $100 thing is correct for the boys. First of all, Kaleb and Logan are able to wear some of Ross' hand-me-downs. Second of all, Old Navy and Children's Place have such good sales that I rarely spend more than a few dollars on each of their shirts. I do splurge for nice shoes since I need them to last the majority of the school year. We also have very generous family members that give them money which I sometimes use on clothes.
2. The $100 thing does not count for Alanna. I mean really, don't I deserve to spend whatever I want on all the adorable girl's clothes out there, after shopping for 3 boys?? Alanna's stuff is SO much more fun to look at. And after adding it up in my head (Christmas dress, Easter dress, multiple swimming suits, plus all the other clothes) I don't think there is any way I have stayed under a $100 for her. I guess it is good I don't have 4 girls.

Amen! I can't agree with you more. Little boys are easy to shop for. In the winter it's long sleeve t-shirts and jeans/khakis with a new Sunday outfit. Christmas/Easter just means a new shirt to go with the khakis. In the summer it's shorts and t-shirts with a short sleeve Sunday shirt (usually the Easter shirt/tie). Nice shoes are a must. We learned the hard way that you spend just as much on buying multiple sets of cheap shoes as one good pair of nice shoes. This year Tom bought them two pairs of nice school shoes to switch off. It was expensive at the time but both pairs look great.
But, you do DESERVE to do what you want with Alanna. Show some discipline but enjoy it because before you know it, she won't want the cute stuff. I'm so excited to go crazy with a little girl!!!
