Party!!!

Ross had a great time playing at the bounce house and eating pizza and cake with friends and family. I made him a soccer ball cake that was both yellow and chocolate cake. I thought it turned out cute, I need to learn more about how to decorate cakes, it is fun and less expensive than store bought ones (taste better too).

I got him trick candles- HAHA.

Happy 10th Birthday!!!

Ross is 10 today! He is so excited, he was up before everyone else eating his special birthday breakfast (brown sugar cinnamon poptarts, he picked it, not me). I'm so proud of him. Even though he frustrates me at times with his worrying, he is an amazing kid that is loving and helpful and responsible. I am so glad he is my son. I was up last night making him blue frosted chocolate cupcakes with red polkadots to share with his class. Saturday he gets to take 2 friends to a bounce house and lunch.
Here he is last pack meeting where he earned his Bear Scout, now he is a Webelo.

Ross is 9 Today!!

9 years ago today I was recovering from giving birth to a 9 pound 7 ounce baby boy (he was born at 2:37am). He had lots of dark hair and was so sweet. I am so glad he is in our family. Happy Birthday Ross!

Ice Skating

Monday is Ross' birthday, so we had a family party for him yesterday. He chose ice skating- he loves roller skating so he was dying to to try it. None of the kids had ever been before. At first Ross and Kaleb were hugging the wall and Alanna was hanging on grandpa. By the end of the session Ross was all over the ice, Kaleb was skating with one hand on the wall, and Alanna was not suffocating grandpa as much as at the beginning. Ross loved it and Kaleb said it was the best day. Alanna wants to go back too, which amazes me since I figured I was totally wasting my money when I paid for her to go.
