Alanna likes Monster High so she requested a Monster High candle on a cake with Cool Whip frosting (I tried to talk her into a cute butterfly cake I saw on Pinterest but I was overruled).

Alanna wanted an Ipod Touch for her birthday so I told her that she would have to have a super simple birthday to get such an extravagant gift.  So it was an easy decision for her, dinner at her favorite restaurant (Taco Cabana) with her family.  Some lucky guy someday will be excited about how cheap of a date she will be.
