Yes, it was as big as it looks in the picture, we get some big ones out here. I think it is time to call the pest control company, they come out here every month instead of every 3 months, they are probably losing $$ on our house. But the inside is pretty bug free, it is what is roaming around the outside of the house that freaks me out a bit.

It looks like a grass spider, which we have TONS of at our house, both outside and occasionally inside. They're pretty harmless to humans.
We get tons of friends like that following us in the house too...some are ridiculously huge.
Everythings bigger in Texas right. The scary thing is that I have one child who no mater how harmless the spider may be, if he gets bit his whole leg, or face, or arm swells up. Good luck with the pest control thing.
