Brady's birth story
Many of you know that I was scheduled to be induced on Monday, we were supposed to go into the hospital at 5:30am. When my alarm went off at 4am I got into the shower and noticed I was having contractions. They were pretty random, but then I remembered that was how it was with Alanna too. I feel like I would have gone into the hospital that day anyway, even if I had not already been scheduled. We got there on time and the nurses were very efficient- I was hooked up to everything quickly and things moved right along. They had the pitocin going by 6:45 and the epidural by 7am. This turned out to be a good thing since he was born by 7:48! This had to be the easiest labor/birth I have had. I went home Tuesday night, but Brady was not able to come home until Thursday morning. The first couple of days after he was born he was on oxygen, he had fluid in his lungs. I was not able to hold him or feed him. A friend of ours, Jeremy, from church, stopped by Tuesday evening and went to the nursery with Kim to give Brady a blessing. Within an hour Brady was off oxygen and never had to be put back on it. We are so blessed. I spent Wednesday going back and forth to the hospital nursery to hold and feed him. Now he is home and his brothers and sister are so excited, it is so nice to be able to hold him after not being able to the first couple of days. He is a sweetheart.

Congratulations! What a beautiful baby boy. I'm sorry that you had to go through such a rough couple of days. That seems so unnatural to not be able to hold him. Glad he is doing well now. Enjoy every second.
He is beautiful and I'm so glad he's home safe and sound. I remember Lauren being in that same boat and not being able to hold her. What a horrible feeling. I'll never forget not being able to comfort her. I'm glad he wasn't there longer. Kiss that newborn for me.
He is gorgeous! I think he looks like Ross! I am sorry he was sick though, that stinks. I hate it when I can't bring my babies home from the hospital with me. Glad he is home and doing well now!

Holy cow! Congratulations! I thought you were going to be pregnant forever;-) Just kidding. CONGRATULATIONS and glad he is home. It's no fun when you have to do things separately.
