Family Updates

Well, my midwife won't budge on the induction date, so March 9th it is. I am really hoping that the baby will want to come on his own the 5th or 6th, that would be the best days for us. Any ideas on what works to put yourself in labor so I can go in one of those days?? Anything that worked for you? I have heard the traditional methods and tried many of them with the other kids, they did not work. Now planning my birthday dinner at Red Lobster with my family made Alanna come early. HAHA Maybe I'll try making some really fun plans for the 7th and see if that works.
The flood damage is now fixed as of today! I am so excited to have my bedroom back in order.
Oh, and Kaleb is selling really expensive but probably yummy cookie dough if you feel like you really need some.

I am the wrong person to ask -- after high risk twin pregnancy blah blah blah preterm labor blah blah blah and literally months of Braxton Hicks I still had to be induced. Believe me, with a cross-country move in less than 3 weeks, and horrible choleostasis toward the end, I tried everything that didn't involve cod liver oil or herbs. I packed 8 boxes the day I was induced and hiked up and down the stairs with over 11 pounds of baby in there. Nothing, nada, zip.

Being way stressed out made them induce me early with Tate because my blood pressure went way high. Good Luck

I really stand by raspberry leaf tea. It doesn't induce labor but it readies the body and the uterus - and dilated me with my last three. I wish I could buy some cookie dough - but I'm too far away.
