a whole 4 blocks away!! HAHA We need more space and we like our neighborhood most of the time (neighborhood pool and elementary school and grocery store nearby) plus Kim works less than 10 miles from here (rare in this area). So, we wanted a bigger house but saw no reason to make it a big move away from our little area, so we had the builders that are still in this neighborhood build for us again. We will be renting our current house since it is not the greatest time to sell, plus my finance husband thinks it will be a great investment. So the last few months we have been watching them throw this together:
It is pretty much done, I took this picture today.
It is nothing super fancy but has a lot more space. It has a very large backyard (cul-de-sac lot), and 2600 square feet (5 bedrooms and a study). We have 1800 square feet now so this will definitely feel larger. We have too much crap!! We have a lot of work ahead of us because we will be painting the new house plus getting our current house ready to rent so August should be a crazy month, but we are excited for the extra room.

"Nothing super fancy"?? It's gorgeous! How exciting to move to bigger place, but keep your neighbors and schools. I can't imagine having that many bedrooms and square footage -- I bet your master closet is bigger than my twins room!

Oh, so this is the infamous house with stairs but no chimney ;D It is so so pretty from the outside. Can't wait to see the inside. I'm really excited for you guys! More living space is always a blessing.

It's so awesome to be able to paint your new house BEFORE you move in. We've done that the last two times and wouldn't do any other way again! We also put in ceiling fans in every room too. Good luck with the renting!
CONGRATS!!! I am jealous, we are still renting. UGH. It is beautiful, you need to post pictures of the inside now!
How exciting. You'll definitely notice the extra space. I'm sure you'll enjoy it and find more stuff to fill in the empty spaces! :)
