July 4th pancake breakfast and hot lake trip

Alanna in her July 4th dress. I thought this was so cute and I actually found it at Walmart! Usually I am not a fan of Walmart clothes.


Kaleb has decided that he is tired of me always taking pictures of him. Here he is playing in the water at the lake. They all had a great time, but it was extremely hot!

Ross out in the water- I did not see him much, he played out in the water with his friends the whole time.


We had a fun July 4th holiday. In the morning we went to our church's pancake breakfast. Some friends of ours went camping at the lake so we met up with them afterwards (on the way we showed up at my sister's house for a quick visit and woke them up, oops, I forget that some people actually get to sleep past 9:30 in the morning). My Idaho husband is too wimpy to camp in Texas in July so that is why we skipped the camping part and just went up to the lake for a few hours so the kids could play. The kids had a great time playing and having a picnic, I thought Kim was going to die of heat stroke. Afterwards, we went over to grandma's house to bug her and hang out in the AC. When we got home we watched some fireworks from our front yard. This turned out to be a good thing since Logan was terrified of them! Luckily Kim could take him inside while the rest of us stayed out and watched.
