Gingerbread Houses

We have an annual tradition of making gingerbread houses with the kids. We started it when Ross was a baby. We help them build the houses, then they get to do all the decorating they want to. I think they eat as much candy as they put on their houses, but they sure look forward to it every Christmas! We also drink eggless eggnog while we work. It is yummy that way, and we have so much fun.

Your kids did such a great job on their houses. I monitored our big family one and Carter got to do his little one all himself. It was COVERED from roof to bottom with decorations. I was wondering if it was going to hold up, but it did. It looks like your kids know the word "moderation".

So fun. Hey, I think we have the same kitchen set up - right down to identical appliances. You must have great taste.
