Well, the kids are definitely excited about Halloween coming, and they know that Christmas follows too soon after. I think I already have a Christmas list a mile long from each of them which is fine with me, I am not a last-minute-shopper kinda gal. I would like to be done shopping in the next few weeks.
Kaleb is loving school. I hate to admit, I was not sure if he was going to be a school-loving kid like Ross is. I was not sure how fast he would grasp the concepts and especially the learning-to-read part. I am pleasantly surprised that he is doing really well, in fact he seems a little bored and wishes that they would move along a little faster. Ross, on the other hand, is surprised that he is not sailing through 3rd grade like he did the other grades. He is great at math and is loving multiplication BUT he is struggling through the reading comprehension that they seem to focus on a lot. He is the fastest reader, but I don't think he gets most of what he reads because he is trying to be a speed reader. We have been working on that. He is almost done with the fall soccer season, next Saturday is his last game. He is also really close to being a bear in Scouts, he will definitely have it by his birthday next month. Alanna loves preschool, and I think she will love kindergarten next year. She is also having a great time at dance class. Last week it was parent's night- I was able to come watch the class and see what they do. She was so excited, she must have stopped to wave at me a hundred times in the 45 minute class time. I wonder how the recital will go??
Now to Logan- he has been showing me that he is NOT a baby anymore. He is definitely a toddler and into mischief. I must have taken him off of the kitchen table 20 times this morning while Alanna tried to eat breakfast. He moves the kitchen chairs wherever he feels like climbing to, and he can unload the dishwasher faster than I can. He wants to run everywhere and talk to everyone. Right now his favorite word is "bye". He is so sweet, but has learned the power of the screaming fit to get what he wants. It works quite well with his brothers and sister.
Kim and I are the same. We are doing well and happy with life, and we know we are so blessed.

It sounds like y'all are doing great! And, I used to help with the boys' classes and boys seemed to have more trouble reading than girls at this point. Besides, with his math skills, he can be a nobel prize winner with some magical formulation that combats global warming.
It was so good to get an updat on your family. Everyone seems to be doing well. I can't wait to put Keeton in dance when she is 3. She also sounds a little like Logan. She thinks she is the princess of the castle and does everything in her power to show us all that. Oh, well!! You just gotta love them!!
Thanks for the update! (My toddlers climb on the table, too).
