My friend Elena did this on her blog and it made me think- so. . .
Why do I need more sleep than my kids do?? I think I am still in bed every morning when they get up.
Why do I steal all my kids chocolate bars after they go trick-or-treating?? Someone has to make sure they are safe to eat, right??
Why do I love shopping for the kids and not for me?? Is it that their stuff is cuter, or is shopping for me just a lost cause??
Why do I feel like I am wasting time if I watch TV, but playing on the computer is okay?? I mean they do both involve staring at a screen.
Why do I worry so much about my house being clean if a friend drops by?? Do they really care?? Probably not.
Why do I have many pairs of shoes but slip on the same old pair of Old Navy flip-flops every time I go out the door?? Really, I would save a lot of money on summer footwear if I just bought those every summer. Hmmm, I think that is the only pair of shoes I have bought for myself lately.
Why do I buy 3 swimsuits for Alanna and 1 for each boy?? Don't they all go swimming the same amount of times??

If I had a little girl, she'd have 12 swim suits and the boys would wear last year's model. Just kidding. I totally get you with the sleep thing.
Seriously, girls' clothes are so so fun and so so cute to buy. Boys' clothes can be too, but basically my little boy wears shorts and T-shirts he has had for a couple of years now, everyday.
I'm the same way about my flip-flops. Old Nay flip-flops are the way to go.
This was a fun post! It made me laugh.
About the swim suits...Wait 'til you see my beach pictures -- different suit for every day! (but I didn't buy them, Grandma did! But really, if she hadn't, I know I would have!)
