Movie List

My friend Elena asked what everyone's favorite movies are. I have to say I only have one absolute favorite movie. I have others that I like a lot, those would be the ones I am willing to watch more than once, then I have the ones that I think are good the first time but that is it. Then, of course, are the ones that I am not into. Here I will list my #1 favorite, then all the ones that I can remember that I would watch more than once.

#1 Sound of Music- okay, I think this is the BEST movie ever- clean, great music (Julie Andrews has an awesome voice), so romantic, beautiful scenery (I have been there, it is that beautiful in person), a feel good movie, and I love that it is based on a true story, I could watch this over and over (and I have, I think I know all the words to every song)

  • Pretty Woman- I love Julia Roberts in this one, plus it is romantic even if she was a hooker
  • Wedding Singer- what can I say, I love the 80's music, plus it makes me laugh
  • Christmas Vacation- Kim and I watch this every Christmas and laugh the entire time even if we have seen it a million times
  • Tommy Boy- this one makes me laugh too no matter how many times I have seen it- airplane bathroom scene- hilarious!
  • Pure Country- reminds me of high school when I was SO into country music, plus I love George Strait, and it is romantic too (are you guys seeing a pattern? I did not realize I was so into comedies and romance)
  • Family Man- whenever I think the single life looks more appealing than my crazy life, I stick this one in and realize I love my life just the way it is
  • all musicals, but not always the video version since I would much rather go see them live

I would love to hear everyone else's!

Pure Country!!! I'm glad I'm not the only one. You know, I love it even though George can't act at all. That movie brings back so many memories - I saw it with Steve Hibbetts - a big crush. Thanks for making me smile
