Anniversary

Today is our 10 year anniversary. Wow, time flies. But as I was reading my friend Jessica's blog (her 10-year was yesterday) I started thinking about all the accomplishments we have had the last 10 years. A lot has happened, even if it does not feel like 10 years has gone by since our wedding day. Here are 10 accomplishments from the last 10 years.
  1. 6 moves- 5 apartments, 1 house- Provo, Orem, Pocatello, Chubbuck, Lewisville, our present location
  2. 2 Bachelor's degrees
  3. too many jobs to remember, but Kim has a great career now so it is all worth it
  4. wonderful, lifelong friends in every place we have lived
  5. 4 happy, healthy children
  6. our faith has grown and now we are teaching our children about the gospel
  7. the love and bond between us that grows stronger every day
  8. so much furniture and 'stuff' that would hardly fit into the largest van last time we moved
  9. we can't forget Casey, our 'rat' dog that keeps the backyard safe from Texas critters
  10. most importantly, a forever family

I was going to post a picture from our wedding day, but our scanner only works when it feels like it. Maybe later.

Mike and I celebrate 8 on the 31st. Tis the season I guess. Congratulations, it really is wonderful to celebrate the beginning of such a wonderful life.

What great memories. I remember your wedding reception in Idaho. You looked so beautiful. You two had such a rough engagement (cars being towed, no money, etc.) I just wanted everything for you to go perfectly. Now, ten years later you have an eternal marriage with a great family. And you've only just begun.
